Let your canal boat take you around the world! Or
your house could send you cruising UK canals!
|
Having a boat on the canal system is an asset
that can be taken advantage of in many ways. All around the world there are
people looking for different holiday experiences.
Lending property to
unknowns may sound a bit scary but the principle of
house exchange is well established and tends to work well, with both sides
extending and responding to the mutual trust of allowing another family the
privilege of using their home - and often the car as well. So why not a canal boat?
|
If
you would like to offer a
boat/house holiday exchange just fill in our
Listings Request
Form.
There is no charge!
But we only list exchanges involving a UK canal boat
and we do not include free links to other websites!
Or follow up any of the opportunities listed below. We present this information as
a free service and can make no guarantees about the arrangements offered, you
must make your own further enquiries and agreements.

We
would love to exchange our
New Zealand house, holiday house, and car
for a cruising canal holiday anywhere in Europe. Non
simultaneous exchange is fine by us. We have a brand
new 3 bedroom home - with lift, central
heating/cooling and all mod conns, almost in the
middle of Cambridge Town. Our holiday house is in
Pauanui on the Coromandel Peninsula. Cambridge is
conveniently set in the middle of Waikato, close to
many tourist attractions. Cambridge is very "English"
has about 12000 inhabitants, and has that "village"
atmosphere. We have done many house exchanges all
over the world. Open to any offer.

We
have self contained studio accommodation in our home
in a quiet neighbourhood in
North London. Good transport links
into town. We would be happy to provide hospitality
in exchange for a short stay in your narrowboat. We
would like to re-experience the canals once more.
Won't go far in the boat, just a poodle about. We
are a reliable, honest, non-smokers, couple in our
early 50's. Would prefer a location not too far
driving distance from London.

We
live in the Cotswolds. A
quaint village all period-no new, a Manor
house with lots of history. Dick Whittington once
owned the manor as did the owners of the Titanic, no
street lights, no shop or pub. Fantastic walks
(would be ok to explore 1500 acre estate). All
popular Cotswold tourist areas on doorstep-Stow on
the Wold 6 miles. Sleeps 4/5. Want a canal boat for
10-14 days anywhere. Prefer 50'+. Experienced
boaters.
