We are a Swiss family ( 50, 47, 17,15,13) and we have already make a trip with a narrowboat in England (from Great Haywood in the Staffs and Worcester canal to Shropshire canal and to Llangollen canal) and two other times in France (River Charente and the North). We would like exchange a narrow boat in UK (4-6 beds) with our very pleasant renovated farmhouse, alone and quiet in farmland, superb view, in middle of Switzerland near mountains and lakes. We prefer a way with nature. Not direct exchange is also possible. For the date we are open but we search exchange for 7 to 15 days. Please contact me if you are interested for more information and pictures of our home and landscape. We will take care of your boat like our own house! mf@gonthier.ch (25/2/08)

We live in the Cotswolds. A quaint village all period-no new, a Manor house with lots of history. Dick Whittington once owned the manor as did the owners of the Titanic, no street lights, no shop or pub. Fantastic walks (would be ok to explore 1500 acre estate). All popular Cotswold tourist areas on doorstep-Stow on the Wold 6 miles. Sleeps 4/5. Want a canal boat for 10-14 days anywhere. Prefer 50'+. Experienced boaters. chapman533@btinternet.com (4/1/08)
