Came here for lunch after having visited Chirk castle. Had a warm welcome from the staff which was friendly and attentive. Food was good and tasty. The mushrooms were mostly chestnut/button mushrooms rather than a mixed mushrooms and the batter on the fish was thin, not beer batter which was quite different from the usual fish and chips recipe. Overall tho the flavours were good. I would recommend if in the area.

The service was excellent, and I was made to feel welcome. The food was amazing, I had the lasagne with garlic bread, and I recommend the chicken sorrento which is on the gluten-free menu.
It has a nice atmosphere and the outside area which is under cover is really nice, you can take your dog too.
If you go drive past and take the turning on the right after the Hand Hotel follow the road for a car park.

A lovely place to go and eat and drink.
We were lucky enough to have nice weather so could sit outside in their covered garden area and it is beautiful.
Food was great and we were well looked after.

Fantastic food, tasty, decent portions. Very accommodating staff who fitted us in without a reservation. Good selection of drinks too. Wheelchair accessible.
