Service and atmosphere were very good however the food was not quite as good as was hoped. The plates were hot but some of the food was semi warm. I ordered a medium rare steak which was unfortunately more well done. The beef dripping sauce was very good however! The steak and ale pie was also very good so I recommend that over any other dish. Lots of parking available outside which is good.

Fantastic dinner! Service was friendly and swift. Our party greatly enjoyed their meals. The steak and ale pie was superb, as was the cheese leek pie. The halloumi fries were also a hit. They were accommodating to my wife’s egg allergy as well. Thank you!

Delicious food in a unique setting. We had a wonderful view from a huge window overlooking the canals. Service was much better this evening . Prices are a little high, but good with the 30% off voucher. Lovely place for a special meal.

I did struggle to park in the car park. It was very full and what didn’t help was motor homes taking up at least 3 spaces. Our table wasn’t set up when we arrived 10 minutes late due to trying to find a space to park. However, the staff were welcoming and polite. The food was good and we enjoyed the experience. It was a beautiful place in such lovely surroundings.

Lovely staff, lovely location only the food portions are very lacking my salad was more of a starter size than a £15:50 main. Also. The seabass main was very small.
