Had an amazing day today on Debbie’s Day Boats. Safety n training induction was very informative. Lorna was so welcoming and certainly knows her stuff when it comes to boats. Everyone was friendly on the water ways. Some lovely scenery. Cannot recommend enough. I will be booking up again for next year.

Booked for my husbands birthday with friends. Having never been on a canal boat before we were very impressed with the in depth briefing and first short run to get our ‘captain’ and ‘rope man’ up to speed. The boat is perfect for day hire with everything you need. No locks made for a relaxing day along some beautiful stretches of canal. A perfect lunch stop with two pubs to choose from on the way back. Highly recommend using this company…a great day.

We went here for the father in laws 60th birthday gift, from start to finish we had an amazing day, Lorna was brilliant showed you everything you need to know about the boat we had Nessie for the day from where everything is to how to drive and operate the boat but it doesn’;t end there, Lorna comes along with you for the first part of your journey to make sure your comfortable and confident with operating Nessie, any problems she’s only a phone call away, the route you take has no locks to deal with and us very nice a relaxing cruise, if your after something different for a nice chilled day out I’d highly recommend Debbies Day Boats they are excellent

What a wonderful day! We hired Nessie for my birthday and had a fantastic time on the canal. A beautiful lady called Lorna taught my children how to handle and moor the boat, she did this with ease, giving us the confidence to drive the boat alone. Nessie had everything on board that would be needed, and we enjoyed every minute of the day. Thank you Lorna for being a perfect host. And Thank you for letting us hire Nessie for the day.
