Annie Murray is a notable author who hails from Berkshire and studied English at St John’s College, Oxford. Her debut novel, Birmingham Rose, became a bestseller upon its release in 1995 and marked the start of her ‘Birmingham’ series. Over the years, Annie has penned several other successful books such as A Hopscotch Summer, Soldier Girl, Chocolate Girls, and War Babies.

Besides her writing career, she is a proud mother of four and currently resides near Reading.
