Dusty Miller left his advertising career in London to pursue his passion for canals. He has gained a wealth of experience living aboard, managing a hire boat and boatbuilding company, serving as a lock keeper, and participating in work parties and the Stratford on Avon Canal Society. Throughout this time, Dusty has continued to express himself through his artistic endeavours, including advertising, boat decoration, pub signs, and his favourite subject – canals. This book showcases over 60 of Dusty’s paintings, complemented by notes, anecdotes, and photos of many of the scenes – some captured over 50 years ago.
